Here you will find links to information for finding adoption related records. Most links are to state government websites with official information about what is available for the adoptee (or others) for that state. In some states, such as Oregon, adult adoptees can order their pre-adoption birth records. Most states have closed adoption records, but you might find that they have an official adoption registry or a confidential intermediary service.
